Outpost Attack v2.2 Review
By shibby1000 on 27 September 2008

Pros: Graphics, Sound, Gameplay and Interface.

Cons: Lacks context and Story.

Outpost Attack v2.2 by gollum_master

Graphics 5/6
- This game stands out well through its use in Special Effects and Graphics. Even though only pixel art is used, the incorporated sense of texture interpolation polishes this game off nicely.

Sound 5/6
- Sound is a very important aspect in ALL games and I personally think Outpost Attack has used this character to its advantage. With its awesome explosions and effect sounds / noises teamed up with the in-game music, this game receives a five of six star rating. Well done Gollum_Master

Gameplay 5/6
- As soon as this game was finished I was the first tester, lets just say I was overly impressed with its unique style of Gameplay.

Story 2/6
- Even though this game was not meant to have a story, it still had some background to the main part of the game. I believe this game brings a sense of destruction that war has created on our Earth. Quite artistic really...

Interface 6/6
- Being the strongest aspect of the game, the interface is well designed. But there could be a better way of displaying options, such as drop down menus...

Overall Rating 5/6

This game has always been my favourite of the Outpost series and i just want to say that you've come a long way since grade ten. Good work Chris and don't ever stop creating.
