I don't think you should tell people that you made it in just one day,it sometimes gives them a reason to downrate your game because you didn't put lot of work into it,I personally liked the global retro style,but using bunch of gm effects isn't retro;),if creating a retro style game,atleast you can use some simple music(lika pkmn,just little faster music) and sound effects(this can be little more than biiip if you are going to give it some),so my rating is 2.5/6(so it is a 3)
