As for reseting the pieces when a lemming dies, well, that's kind of your punishment for being careless. You don't have any finite number of lives, so I want people to put effort into stopping the room before a lemming reaches its untimely demise. But if it does happen, then all they have to do is replace a few objects, no big deal. Furthermore, I can't have the objects remain in their correct locatioins when a lemming dies, because sometimes an object has no one correct location.

Actually, that's all intentional. The moving objects are there to give the game more than just a flat-out puzzle challenge; you have to have good timing and reflexes too. I didn't want people to be able to just click on all the hints, place the objects in the revealed locations, and move on with the level without any effort.
