Put "image_speed = 0.5" in your create to slow down the characters walk animation.
There seems to be no reason to make a village - there's no need for food or shelter in the game. Is this supposed to be like lego, where you just build things for the sake of building them?

It was okay, great idea. cool menu. But it was Very glitchy/buggy. also, houses should be rotatable. You should put it more buildings, like Barns, and fences. Animals would be cool too. 3/5. good job
