Another Day in the Life of Bob Review

Pros: Lot of depth, lots of ways to play, looks and sounds great.
Cons: Can get tedious, a few minor glitches
Enjoyable, engaging game
Defiantly one of the best simulation games I've played on Game Maker.
This is a very enjoyable game where you control the life of a man named Bob...again. For those who've played the original it has very similar gameplay, however a lot of adjustments, improvements and extra things make it a great sequel and better than the first. For those who haven't played the original, a brief explanation is you move around a town full of buildings and people and you must navigate around, interact and live out whatever life you force upon Bob, if you want him to survive at all that is!
There are no set goals in this game, and I didn't include this into the Pro's and Con's boxes as this can be a good and bad thing. Some people might love this, with no single focus and you can make your own goals to achieve, much like actual life. However others may simply think 'what's the point then?' (A wobbly statement when talking about playing games anyway :S). Personally I like the open-ended style of play, but I didn't play the game in large chunks as I started to get bored. It really depends on the player.
Graphics are great, brightly coloured buildings in an isometric world, and the sounds and music fit perfectly with the game. I did run into a few glitches like getting stuck and not being able to get through doors, I would of also liked labelled buildings, as I have a bad memory and took me a while to find the one I wanted. :p
This is a game where enjoyment really depends on the player, but gamers who like open-ended styled gameplay, life-sims or torturing people named Bob should play this game as it has a lot to offer and I found it very enjoyable. Hope to see more from the creator.
