You can stop the guy from continually moving by using the "no key" event and then setting the speed to 0. (There's also a "restart room" you could use when the player dies). This could be a really cool game with some more weapons and smart enemies.

this game would've been ok if you would have made it to where the guy stops when u don't press an arrow key. it's not that hard to figure out
