The First De Blob Game Ever!!!: Demo Review
By Sparx the Cy-wolf on 19 March 2009

Pros: Originality....of sorts.

Cons: Not very challenging.

A game about a living paintball.

This is actually a lot better than I thought it would be, of course I never did play the real game so I wouldn't know how it's suupposed to be played.
I like the idea of changing your colour do do different tasks, although I'm not too sure about the coloured enemies, I mean why would the player waste time going back and forth when he could just navigate past them?
I'm also not too sure about the fact that you can't actually die in the game, you touch an enemy...you simply turn black ...what is with that!?!
There are a few things that need fixing as well, such as the title screen shrinking and huddling in the corner for some reason.
A few suggestions:
1st :place a colour chart of some sort in one of the corners of the screen, this will make it easier for players to know what color to change into instead of hitting F1, trust me this will get annoying at some point in the game.
Look up "Mercury Meltdown", they did something similair.
2nd: Try animating De Blob just a little bit, just moving his arms a little whilst stationary, the game will look better with a litle animation in it.

    1. when u turn black from enemies, you lose points. and your goal is to have a lot of color points
    2. you do not have to kill the colored ones. you can ust navigate through them. killinng them is just an easier way of getting points
    3. and im workin on the screen fixing in the real game so dont worry
    4. for the chart, im assuming that evry1 went to at least preschool to learn their color mixes. im surre most people will just look at the chart 1ce
5.like i said on my profile, there r no sprites
