Mario and the pit of 100 trials Review

Pros: Great idea, good engine

Cons: Too many levels before the actual pit of 100 trials, no save feature.

What a Pit!

The Pit of 100 Trials is an excellent idea. Just it shouldn't have three levels before the actual pit. There should only be a fort.

If you want some extra lives when you start lvl 1, do the following:
Pick up the mushroom block ant throw it down on the lower level. Goombas will start coming out of the pipe. Grab a shell from a nearby troopa, and drop it between the mushroom block and the pipe. The shell will knock down the goombas, and after it knocks several goombas down, 1ups will be given to Mario.

In the castle near the poison and the thwomp, there are a ton of hidden blocks. Be careful!

I'm not good at surviving the bombfield, just dodge the explosions.
