Doom 2D - knee deep in the dead Review

Pros: Everything excluding menu bugs
Cons: Some things differ from doom, not self-explanatory enough (read the review)
It's a five-star game.
Really, i didn't expect this game to be any good. Many of that kind suck big one, but that one can be called resemblence of doom in 2d. Everything is similar to original, even a transition effect and kills\items\secrets counter. Effects are neat and accurate. The lighting doesn't make the game any more difficult, but makes the game look better.
Not is the dark side of the Phobos =) A new player can be puzzled by controlls (not everyone out there knows original doom controlls) and may not go look for it in the menu. I think it would be better to fit them in the game. Also, after playing for ~15 min I have no idea how to save. It should be more obvious. Imp doesn't die from one shotgun shot and there's always plenty of armor, cause it takes too many hits to "remove".
Dont know why, but i can't rate 5, so consider 4 to be the highest mark.
Overall it's a very interesting doom2d type of game, and i'm pretty sure the best one on YoYo. Great job!

Thanks a lot! The next version will include all 4 episodes, no more bugs, some small fixes (like the imp that doesn't die from a shotgun shot), and even multiplayer. Thanks a lot!
