The character looks like Arthur Read minus the ears and nose to me. I think your glitch problem is due to having a precise bounding box, so on certain frames of the animation the character will get caught, and on some he wont.

whoa very buggy lol. Couldn't get much further then level 5 i think before the interface become to troublesome. Nice idea and concept, graphics are pretty good as well but the engine is a huge problem. This needs some severe improvements to the engine. If all the bugs can be ironed out, this could be very successful. I wouldn't go for making a sequel, just improve this one.
