Maze Maker! Review
By Vony on 23 May 2009

Pros: Good programing, Maze editor works fine

Cons: Graphics aren't so great, no sound, minor frustrations

Not bad at all.

I admit, I didn't really have any high hopes for Maze Maker judging from the screenshots (graphics weren't too hot) but I was actually
quite surprised when I loaded the game up. The programming was pretty solid (much better than the customization games I tried to make
a few years back) and the buttons weren't so bad (they could have been better, but they served their purpose). You can actually make a
pretty decent maze with this game considering you know what to do. Luckily, it's easy to figure out how to control the game
right from the start. Like I said, the buttons do their job. The can tell which button does what and easily make your own maze. My only gripes
about the maze making are that the grid isn't visible so it's frustrating to pinpoint exactly where you want the walls to go and that it's
a pain to erase unwanted objects via the tool on the bottom screen (unless I'm missing something...).

Overall, better than I expected yet still not anything amazing. If a few things where better, such as the graphics, the game
would probably be more enjoyable. Although... it's kinda hard for a maze game to stand out no matter how good the graphics are.

Thanks for the detailed review! I'm so glad you liked it. As for the erasing problems, did you try the precision eraser? It only deletes single pixels/objects, so you can erase small mistakes.

I'll see about adding a button to toggle the grid. ^^
