Mario Kart Mad Circuit Review

Pros: Better sprites, good controls, nicer maps
Cons: repetitive textures in 1 cup, few glitches, horrible menu controls
Better than the Legend
Lets start off one point after the other
Graphics. this is a 5 star thing, the author has improved the fat driver sprites from his old game to nicer and thinner sprites in his new game, kudos for that, everything else is nice too, no complaints
Sound: very well made, although its almost the same as in the old version (or is it simply the same)
however, improvement couldve been there, i miss an engine and skid sound...
Gameplay: quite smooth, no glitches, but the speed is far too low and when hitting a wall you shouldnt go down to 0 km/h
Story:mario kart never had a story
interface: yes this is the worst part of this game, the menu is a dreadful mix of keyboard controls and mouse pressing, so you always have to switch hands from mouse to keyboard and vice versa to get something done
also the logo drawing interface doesnt let me draw lines.. which is ridiculously bad, i considered drawing a good logo, but then i gave up because that would take till eternity
overall score of 4, because there are improvements, but not all neccessary ones (like the dreadful menu of the old game) have ben executed
