Pros: Good concept, great graphic and story, has a very retro feel.

Cons: you move way to fast, a little bit of acceleration before you reach warp would have been nice since the little speed demon makes it hard to get the keys before time runs out.

good game, too twitchy

The game is rather fun, but is hampered by character movement. He simply moves to fast to be adequately controlled using a keyboard.
some sort of implementation of acceleration and friction system would have benefited this game immensely.
Also variable jump height would make dodging those pesky spikes a more enjoyable experience.
the lighting ability seems to be highly inaccurate. not sure what the cause of that is. issues with collision detection maybe?
all in all a good game.
but my hope is that any sequels will include the above mentioned improvements.
great job on the game.
