      I just looked at said DS RPG and I must say I'm a bit disappointed. They should've spent more time on their battle system.

      This system reminds me a lot of the DS RPG Sands of Destruction.
      Which is quite a good thing, because the battles were the best part of that game (despite the fact that they were random encounters)

      Oh, I was planning to create a very similar turn based system for my game but really didn't know where to start. But now I can learn how to it, you saved me tons of time. (Still new to GM) Thank you very much! I really like the dynamic movements.
