Star Wars: the Ewoks join the Fight Review
By Jaster Fett on 24 August 2007

Pros: (1) Incredible graphics. (2) Classic SW music. (3) Ewoks. (4) Help menu. (5) Autosave feature. (6) No glitches found.

Cons: (1) Incomplete.

Ewoks and more!

This promises to be quite the game when completed. The custom graphics increase the Star Wars "feel" of the game and the sounds made by the ewoks and Imperials create a quite convincing environment. The only downside to this game is that is currently not yet finished; however, that provides an opportunity to suggest features for the final version.

Personally, I would like to see the Stormtroopers be able to stop and shoot upwards at the glider. Tie Fighters could be added for aerial combat. Keep working on this!

Yub! Yub!

Oh, and I won't be adding TIE fighters, sorry.
TIE fighters are rather big, and they weren't present in the ground battle on Endor.

    * Improved character, menu and interface graphics
    * 2 new levels, and the level currently in the game will get a background and will be three times as large (it scrolls when you move to the edges of the screen.
    * Various unlockable extras, including new music, new ewoks to fly with, duelling mode (2-player), an ewok encyclopedia and a minigame.
    * 3 unlockable comical items including thermal detonators and an anti-gravity generator, allowing you to pick up and throw stormroopers!

Thank you for the review! I already plan on having the storm- and scout troopers shoot at you when you got too far down. The game is very far from finished, a few things that will be added:

    * Campaign mode: 3 levels in which you have to do several missions including protecting R2-D2 while he's trying to open the imperial bunker and creating a log trap to destroy an AT-ST.
    * Running, attacking and death animations for all characters in the game.
    continue in next comment...
