way too slow to keep my interest. awesome that the graphics are all original -- really shows the effort you invested in this -- but some graphics look utterly silly, like the alien containers. Those ought to be sprites, not tiles; or at least embed them in the wall so you only see one side.

and to settle the knife damage issue, make it the same as the pistol. the fact that it's short range is detriment enough. and frankly i'd have the baddies go down in two shots or speed up my attack rate.

Gameplay is decent, though graphics could use a retouch and some sounds could be added.
