Game description:

Inspired by Kirby's Dream Land, this is a race through a series of levels as fast as possible while avoiding enemies and collecting tasty food.

This game is in very, very early stages of development, but seeing as it has been worked on for very little time, I'd say there is terrific progress. The most limited factor would most likely be the graphics, which are mostly just ones I had lying around. This is why the playable character, Squeaky Bogg, doesn't look familiar and cycles through three sprites that tilt.

Still, there are a number of actions he can do. Aside from walking (left & right), running (double tap), and jumping (up), he can also "inflate" to float in the air (up in air). Now, the graphic doesn't change yet as it has yet to be made, and he can't fly upwards and can only do it once per jump, as I wanted to practice coding limitations.
Also as in Kirby, after falling for so long, a "crash" speed is established that can defeat enemies. Additionally, if <Down> is held, he'll spring up higher than a normal jump. Down also drops him through "thin" floors.
For more fun, reversing direction while near the peak of a jump near a wall executes a wall spring.

Again, this is very early, but I wanted to get it up and displayed. More characters, playable and opposing, can be expected, and hopefully some sort of level random generator.

This is a Kirby series fan game. Kirby is property Nintendo and HAL. The music is on loan from KRR as I have no ability to make it myself and it fits. All of the pictures, graphics, and sprites were hand drawn by myself. This is made purely in tribute. I do not own any of those characters, except for Squeaky Bogg.
