Pros: nice particle effects, very good refining of a game technique (gravity flipping)
Cons: very short
Glowing praise
gfx- The graphics in this game are very nice. I love particle effects done right and these are awesome. Everything looks awesome, even the blocks and especially the scrolling background
sound- I like the music alot, but there only seemed to be the one track, which was OK cus it was awesome
gameplay- Sure, gravity flipping has been done in games like inoquous, and so soon after IQ, this game is always going to draw comparisons, however this game doesn't copy IQ's style, instead adding the gimmick that the screen automatically changes, adding another layer of gameplay to the game. You have to think laterally and ahead of time, which is excellent, but what makes this great is that the atmosphere seems to push you to play fast when there's no bad consequences to playing slow. Its excellent. A few more different traps, obstacles and other things, aswell as more levels would be excellent, as i was left wanting more, which, frankly, doesn't happen that often as i play GM games.
story- The story's OK, slightly cliched but still OK. After all this isn't a huge RPG which requires a big storyline
interface- the controls are responsive and there was no visible lag despite the use of particle effects
overall- Overall this is a very fun game, although the feeling is a bit dampened because now, after Inoquous, its not as highly original as a concept as it was. Still, the game is very well made and fun with a great twist
