      Started working on this again. Just scraping off all the layers of messy DnD there is taking some time,though. :)

      @BigxBen: YUP. That's kinda the crux of the matter. It makes it difficult to distinguish enemy bullets, which is so far the most persistent problem I've had with the game. Unfortunately, a lot of the game needs to be redone anyways (most of it still in DnD), so until I have the time to take it apart and put it back together again, it's kinda stuck in development limbo.

      Once I do, though...it should (hopefully) be much better right off the bat. :)
