One of the better beatemups.

This is quite a good game and definitely deserves a go. It's definitely among the best beatemups you'll find on this site. I only played for a while but I think I got a pretty good impression.

COMBAT
So far this seems pretty good. You can't just hit them repeatedly and live and yet you don't get beaten to a pulp no matter what (this is a problem for amateur game developers). The initial attacks are for the most part pretty similar, though and you can kinda abuse the flying kick. However, after only a few minutes of gameplay I'd already found an item to summon a scrapbot, which was cool, so I'm looking forward to what else is there. Enemies are also not all the same, which is good.

SOUND
The punching and kicking effects are quite nice. Thy're different for certain enemies and they make a pretty solid noise. The music is okay, but gets repetitive after a while.

GRAPHICS
Probably the most appealing part of the game. It seems the creator has done these all him/herself and they're nice pictures. They're done in a style that's cartoony but still cool. It's good that the characters show up during cutscenes and such and there's such a variety of sprites.

STORY
Uh, yeah, it's not a very in depth story, done more for the humour (which is fairly good) than the believability. Characters seem pretty cool so far.

INTERFACE
Well, not much to say here. It works, and it's fairly easy to understand, though I haven't yet found a reason for the cursor being on screen during game.

I have one strange issue. At one point, I randomly changed into another character who couldn't jump or move left and right properly. I couldn't change back and I got stuck. It was weird.

Anyways, nice game. One of the better ones.
