      about the graphics. before i finished it everything was different shades of brown and there were bushes and clouds for atmosphere. but then all the explosions coupled with smoke effects started abusing the computer. so chucked all that and made a complicated system that ensured all the smoke and fire etc. etc. effects dont appear when not nescissary.
