RetroCouncil Review

Pros: Graphic effects, challenge
Cons: Redundancy, "blandness"
Old School Challenge!
Retro Council is very simple, and while the levels get kinda old from doing the same darn thing over and over again, the game within itself provides a great platforming challenge due to the awesome (if not primitive) graphic effects. However, this game is too "bland', as some put it, for the taste of some people (including me). 'Nuff said. Overall: 3/5 Stars
Graphics: Although they aren't superb and are clearly primitive, the graphics contribute much to the experience of the game because of how they screw with your mind and disrupt your perspective. They well served their purpose. 4/5 Stars
Sound: Minimal, not awesome, but no complaints. The game could be silent for all I care. 3/5 Stars
Gameplay: While the gameplay is actually quite entertaining, as well as challenging due to the player having to adjust to the way the levels are distorted through the effective graphics, there's not much variety and it gets old quick. 3/5 Stars
Story: None applicable. None necessary. 1/5 Stars
Interface: Works well with the game, almost perfect for the game's needs...except I got stuck for a second at the title display.
I swiftly got over it, though. 4/5 Stars
