Pros: Good idea, simple controls
Cons: A little boring, unresponsive jumping, annoying 3,2,1, go! bad music
2.5/5 OK GAme
This was ok.
Why are almost all your games now just black and white? You've used that style too many times. It seems that you've rushed drawing the sprites a bit. And the text isn't centered propperly.
The sound was great! the quality of these sounds like the crumbling blocks were music to my ears. Unfortunatley the music wasn't. It wasn't bad or anything, it just didn't suit the game and actually because the music was slow it made the game feel slow, which made it more boring. More fast, maybe pumping music would fit better.
The gameplay was good, and the idea was pretty good, but the way it was executed seemed rushed to me, with unresponive, bad jumping, and the crumbling blocks crumbled way before you could help falling through.
There was no story, which this game could've used. Why is everything black and white all of a sudden, and why is a huge black thing chasing me into a weird swirling portal? It doesn't really matter though, you can't expect everybody to be able to write a good story.
The interface was simple and easy to work out.
The countdown at the beginning was annoying, mybe if it was just at the beginning of the game it would be better.
overall 2.5/5 sorry it says just 2.
