U shud add lighting to ur terrain - i cant remember the code but it's somewhere along the lines of: d3d_light_enable(id,1) d3d_light_define_direction(id,0,0,1,c_white) //when drawing the model use d3d_vertex_normal as you can define how the light reacts to the terrain e.g. should a piece of terrain going upwards be lighted or covered with shadow. //AgentKB ruless :D
