Thanks for all your input guys, you've made some really useful comments. I started re-working this game and quickly realised i'd need to more or less start from the ground up to include all the stuff i wanted and it was a huge task. So, instead look out for Coil Fighter 2 coming your way sometime soon(ish)

Thanks for the comments, peoples. Trigghapy7, thanks for bringing it up. its was because the alpha kept increasing after reaching a value of 1. This has been fixed. Also, the 'powerups' menu is actually just a key for the icons which tell you what weapons each boss had, so i changed the heading for that screen to avoid further confusion.

Thanx, RTyp05. I considered mouse control for along time, but decided to keep it keyboard control so it was closer to the original style.

Hey chicken, I just realized you left a note on my guestbook.. Doh. I unlocked the first few levels but wasn't sure how to unlock more of them. I assume just playing any of the levels longer would do that. Also the powerups seem a bit too random, yet important to do well.

Haha well I have managed to complete it three times without cheating but as the creator of the game I guess you'd expect that! But i definitely agree I did make the game a bit too challenging but it certainly is possible to complete. Hopefully there will be a sequal once things settle down a bit and I can get back to Game Maker. Thanks but no.... they are actually just resource pack sprites that I edited.

Hey, I've only just found out I have a guestbook, otherwise I would have replied sooner! Yeah, I thought the game was nice, but i'm hoping to see a newer version some time, which is maybe a bit smoother and less impossible!
