Some buggy bits really kept me from liking this game. The gameplay was solid but you either couldn't ever get an angle on some targets or they just wouldn't register the hit (I'm looking at you sentry turrets.) Also the two-direction shooting got very old when I was fighting the slimes in that contaminated area spewing from the boil things .

A very solid shooter gameplay-wise. Though; it takes a bit to get used to the more defensive playstyle the slower ship encourages. Some kind of save function would be pretty helpful so someone can jump in where they left off. Not everyone has a free hour.

Neat adapting of polar coordinates to platforming! It was a somewhat easy game (as far as dying went, at least) but it remained pretty fun to play. You may want to compress your loops and use longer ones. Some of them are a bit grating. Also; your intro needs some more oomph/flashes etc. But; a neat game nonetheless!

Not bad, but the music gets grating. Why not use something more ambient? Interesting concept, but you had a bug; the image_blend of a likely already deleted object was called.
