You can turn the colors off in options, Archwind. Makes it a lot easier to see that way.

This game is wonderful. The music is fitting and really great. The burst powerup is cool, kinda makes me feel big and epic like a boss or something. Only real con I can think of is that you're given copious amounts of health which takes away some of the intensity that is naturally present in most shmups. May write a review later. <3

If you find it too repetitive, you could always set the enemies to random order in the options. I don't know what else you could want, there's two game modes and a large variety of enemies. Cactacular indeed.
