This game is really very easy. Just stand off-center and you can beat every stage except the minibullets one and the homing one without looking at the screen.

Your background scrolling is backwards: things further away should move less than nearer things. I recommend that you change this if you don't want to cause brain damage.

I like the game engine you've developed. You use the Tyrian intellectual property quite well. It could do with a bit more variety though. Possibly several different kinds of weapon upgrade.
