Oh, yeah, one more thing. The green boss seems to regain all of its health at random. I don't know if this is intentional, but I'll just be hammering away at it and then the green health bar will just go back to being full. A bug? I dunno. Anyway, I just thought it was worth mentioning.

Saw you played my game so I thought I'd give yours a try. I like the graphics and the classic smup feel. A suggestion, though: maybe an autofire when you hold the mouse button down? I really had to wail on that thing to do any damage. Just make sure it doesn't fire too fast or the difficulty will be gone. And I agree with Evilrett, persistent powerups would be a plus (a global powerup variable, maybe?) Seeya.

Nice. The menu options "retro" Prepare to laugh out loud with the language! ^ Set the language to "retro" and have a good laugh at the expense of old games.

ok game. the jumping is a little iffy. it requires you to have such perfect timing that you'll miss unless your jump is immaculate.
