You asked about why I chose that resolution, here's why: I was going for the cinematic look with the 16:9 ratio and you were right - I did use 853x480. Most games use 640x480 and although many computers run on larger resolutions, the standard is just leaving 1024x768. My current resolution is 1920x1080 but not everyone has that, but I wanted people to have the widescreen experience.
