I've changed the building system, now gravity is disabled while building. This should make the building less annoying :).

Fixed. Apparently with Instant Play program_directory is the directory of the runner, not the directory of your game. I'm using working_directory instead now.

Another downrater ... @turboRamble: I'm glad you liked it :). I will try to add a tutorial when I have time. I wanted to add one anyway, but this was a contest entry and I was running out of time (this was created in little more than a month). I had designed the first level with a tutorial in mind, but later I dropped the idea since I only had hours left and I didn't even have a functioning main menu yet. I was very lucky there weren't any bugs since I had hardly done any testing :P.

@icuurd12b42: If it wasn't, you wouldn't even be able to build anything at all :). Unless you can put everything exactly in place with just the left mouse button ...

I would seriously love to see The Machine on a touch-screen device (it would be perfect for an iPad). Any chance of that happening?
