What am I doing wrong? I don't get it. Every time for the last two years, this thing has started off running at the speed of light on my machine (which is pretty high-end) and then the framerate plummets, the character sprites are no longer transparent, and I can't play at all because the game is so locked up in lag? It's been this way since before I rebooted my computer!
