Ah! Yes, fascinating to hear SOTU2 takes a different direction. In that case, I'll definitely check it out when I can -- which likely won't be until August (due to various deadlines I'm facing). Thanks for the heads-up. $:^ ]

Addendum: orange08 told me the sequel takes enough change in direction that I might shouldn't be so wary of it. Therefore, I now intend to play the sequel (although it'll be awhile before I really can, heheh).

(After I typed this on orange08's profile, I decided players should read it here.) I understand I could design the keyboard layout to be -much- easier, and for other projects I'd be quite happy with player-customizable controls, but I just really liked the idea of two simple action buttons (placed apart from each other) -causing- some extra scramble in this game; I feel that goes better with its weird, whimsical themes than more straight-up controls.

Thank you for the added comments -- both that JAM! LIVE! RANDOM! is "pretty addicting" and what you dislike. Fwiw, I do I understand I could design the keyboard layout to be -much- easier, and for other projects I'd be quite happy with player-customizable controls, but I just really liked the idea of two simple action buttons (placed apart from each other) -causing- some extra scramble in the game; I feel that goes better with its weird, whimsical themes, than more straight-up controls.
