@Kaleb702: Have you ever heard the saying "To err is human, to forgive is divine"? I think it should apply here too. Whatever he did, if he apologized sincerely, he should be given a second chance.

I agree. He apologized sincerely, but that is not a loophole from punishment. He did the crime; he should do the time.

AEG, I disagree. He apologized, sincerely I think, and many people forgave him, including me. That does not change the fact he still deserved it. If a murderer sincerely apologized and would never kill anyone again, he still goes to jail
