I love what you have done with the presentation on this one. The radio tuner including its sounds make for a very novel variation on menu selection themes, as do the little movie clips that select the levels. Great design, and a fun little game for its genre.

At the end of the night, I only came back to play a quick GM game before hitting the pillow. This game totally ruined my plans. Wonderful retro feel in graphics, sound and music, fine map design, a fair number of enemies and cleverly designed bosses and slick interface design - everything to keep you out of your sleep. My only criticism is that the final boss was a bit too easy compared to one of its predecessors. It's a gem and a recommendation to all lovers of this genre.

Nice cinematographics there. Some are more convincing than others - the city scape is nice for example, but could do with better looking buildings. The ship animation is cool, especially the beat of water crashing on the deck. The car in the rain would have been better had the rain also reflected off the car. Still, you got the atmosphere in most cases. Well done.
