This is my opinion: Sam Fisher is an elite covert operative, with neat skills and tricks, while gordon seems to me like any old scientist in a kinda cool suit

I will admit Freemans sucess really relies on how darn lucky he seems to be. But for a scientist with no military training he does suprisingly well.
