It's programmed that way. I kinda wanted to go for that "Momentum" style movement. It's a really easy script to modify, so i plan to add ice levels and increase the momentum when you're on it. (You would slide)

I believe he pretty much quit GM, and moved on to FL Studio composing music. He deleted all of his game maker tutorial videos on youtube as well. I don't know for sure if it was him or not, but I know he's a youtube partner now so maybe that has something to do with it? Oh well, it is what it is I suppose.
