The reason the game is so short is mostly because the piece of background music is also very short. But in general, I wanted to create something "short and sweet," if you will, and also not too hard, so that players could easily complete it and get the message.

The idea that you had about the girl storyline is completely correct as well - I included that initial statement for a reason. The game is about a lot of things, including industrial progress, romance, the wall people put up at train stations and other public venues (e.g. avoiding eye contact, not talking to anyone), and specifically the upgrades that are currently being worked on at Tottenham Court Road (which will likely damage the mosaics).

Thanks for the review! The game was actually inspired by the mosaics of Eduardo Paolozzi, in the Tottenham Court Road London Underground Station. These mosaics vary much, but I was particularly inspired by the ones that were simple square tiles, depicting (for the most part) very abstract forms. This is why the graphics are so simple; this is how these mosaics look.
