Description: I am still gone. :) ======================================= But I check here from time to time just for the memories. I have switched over to the programming language C++ for a variety of reasons: with experience a c++ coder can run circles around Game Maker(No offence), I find the challenge of coding in c++ more fun then using game maker, I want to get a job some day as a programmer and Game Maker won't cut it, I find that though game maker is very powerful for what it is it can limit what you make to games unless you make something way more complicated then it needs to be, and its free to code in C++ and do whatever you want :). For those of you who like to try learning C++ I would highly recommend a book on it. For those of you who want do graphical games you should try using SDL, Allegro, or OpenGL with C++. ======================================= My opinion of game maker is that it is a great tool that deserves respect. For programmers it is a "stepping stone" to lower level languages.
