The problem is that the core game mechanic uses surfaces. So if I turned off surfaces, then I would turn off the game. There really isn't any way around it. Like I said, try updating your video drivers (free software download, don't have to buy anything) and if that doesn't work, then sorry. :(

Also I think it would be cool if you added an endless mode. Because once you figure out a trick to survive through 300 enemies, the game gets pretty easy to beat. But endless mode would add more challenge to it :) Keep working on it! I think you have a cool idea here!

cool game! fun to play. Although some of the weather effects (especially the fireworks) were a little distracting, and the fog covered the UI. But you could use the weather effects as part of the gameplay, like putting fog in on hard difficulty to make it more difficult to see your tower, or adding wind, so that when you drop blocks they don't fall straight down.

From what I've been able to gather the glitches have to do with how certain video cards handle surfaces. If you get glitches like squares appearing around planets/moons/ships or after images of ships staying there when you rotate ships, try updating you video card drivers.
