I've fixed it FireDrop, it was an easy spot that was due to failed precautionary code that used the absolute value of the spike's speed. So it's meant to turn clockwise, as you can imagine it would be much easier. However, I've found a few bugs that deal with timed blocks not disappearing, which undermines the rest of the game, so before I release it, I will have to fix this first. I may end up holding off the fix until the 540p HQ music version of the game, which will have a larger screen.

I've long abandoned this engine for the sole reason of being completely messy and unoptimized. It's unlikely that I'd remake the engine with my better understanding of GML, however if I do, I'm sure it can easily run at 40-60FPS with particle effects for most computers. I've spent huge amounts of time going through the code (which is unnecessarily long) to find what was causing the heavy resource use, but without luck. So, there's really no prospect for this particular engine.

Sorry I haven't gotten around to responding, I'm glad that some of you are enjoying my game! Along with improvements for bugs and problems like Level 22 Marathon (yeah, it's really hard for me, too), I will be developing a 540p version of AtWi33D. For you who don't know, it's twice the resolution of the current version, so the size of your view will be doubled, but the rest of the game will be untouched save for optimizations. It's going to take a while, but this update is late anyways.
