The saounds are from many different sources including, soldat, cod4, counterstrike, gta3, vice city, san andreas and gta2 :P the 3d building is using d3d and just setting the projection angles to looking from top to down. its really very easy, go on host-a.net, there are heaps of examples, though mine is coded very differently because its from scratch and i needed different coding systems to cater for other features i want to add, email me for more help if you need it.
