SELF-REVIEW: Graphics 2 Sound 2 Gameplay 3 Story 1 Interface 2 OVERALL 2 In general, "El Muro" is a decent game, but nothing to brag about. This game was "thrown together" in a few hours and was really just me experimenting/playing around with the mouse. I usually use the keyboard, so it was kind of cool to make a mouse-oriented game for a change.

PROS: This game takes the work out of designing a Mario game (platformer scripts, finding and downloading music, etc). The graphics and sound are great, the menus are intuitive and easy to follow, and basically it makes the design process even more fun. Excellent! CONS: At first glance, it looks like it's limited to Super Mario Bros. 3 style games. Also an "undo" system would make this great game even better.

It's not perfect, but I like much better than some of the others I've seen (including my own). Nice sound effects, cool picture, and easy controls. There is room for improvement, but overall it's a very nice game.

I made a game that's a lot like this. You have way better graphics but like others have said you could improve the sounds and controls. Overall a great game!
