I have noticed that too Fastmewtwo134. For now, we can use the collision blocks or just go 1x1 and fill in the rest of the space with the large ones.

blue cause yoshi to fly with wings, yellow cause yoshi to make small quakes on the ground when he lands on the ground, killing enemies who are hit.

I think I have found the source or almost the complete source of the speed glitch in levels. I took out all the enemies and then checked each in the level that was affected and it seems that it happens when you have a Stationary Ball Piranha Plant in either certain spaces or in some amount of distance to another one. To fix it, just try moving it's postion or replacing it. You can still use them, just avoid spaces that cause the speed glitch (=
