    Awesome, is the pro version much different than the free one? I might just be using a trial of the pro version though so I guess I dont really know the difference. I havent tried Blender, but I have been using Maya and its been pretty awesome but is difficult for making some things like curves.

    Unity has a download that is an entire 3d island with animals, bridges, boats, planes, and a bunch of awesome things that remind me of Wow and you can completely edit the stuff :D

    I just found a program called Unity that is a really easy to use game program that Im going to try and use and see if its any better. It makes 3d games really easy...

    What program did you say u used?

Yes I have Unity also. I haven't tried it out yet though but it looks awesome. If you want I have the Unity Pro & crack patch if you want it let me know & I will upload it for you. I have experience with blender, 3ds max, & maya for making 3d models & graphics. Blender is free open source & comes with it's own game engine but you will have to learn python scripting language to make a good 3d game with it.

Well right now I haven't started working on any of my own game ideas. I have been following all of the tutorials in the game makers apprentice book that I tolled you about, and just learning the GML. The book covers just about every type of 2d game. So I'v been bizzy just learning. But soon I will start on some of my own ideas :)

Ok, thanks for the info. I will have to look into making a online game after I get the GML down and make a few 2d games that I have been thinking about. I'm not to bad at 3d modeling I have experience with blender, 3ds max, & maya. But I am still learning 3d animation. It is all very time consuming. But good luck with your 3d online game though.

It is good to know that the GML is capable of everything. Yes I meant servers as the player would have to DL the game client in order to play and you would host the server with a MySQL DB or rent a hosting service with MySQL. So is a Gamemaker online game run more like a java browser based game then?
